Trentham Gardens

Tuesday was my day off from work. The sun shined. No clouds in the sky. So I decided to 2015-04-21 13.59.23spend my afternoon at the Trentham Estate, visiting the Trentham Gardens.

I definitely found my new spot where I can go and relax, having a cuppa in front of the lake or around the garden itself. The place was absolutely breathtaking: maybe it was because of the tulips everywhere, maybe it was because of the relaxed atmosphere, or maybe because it was sooooooo good to have some hot and sunny weather… I do not know, but I am sure of one thing: it doesn’t matter if it will cost me a fortune, I will go back again and again.

2015-04-21 14.00.46Another point in its favour is that during summer they organise some concerts along the lake. One of them is an ABBA reunion (I know, I know, they are a bit old-fashioned but I like their songs)on the day of my birthday. So guess what?? I’m booking the tickets for that evening to celebrate in style my 25th birthday (you only celebrate it once, right?)

What was even better is that it would be the perfect place for a wedding: part of the gardens is partly divided from the rest of the park, just in front of a church and a lovely old porch and next to a restaurant. Just perfect! Now I just need to find Prince Charming and I will have everything settled for the big day (it doesn’t matter if I still don’t know when and with whom, does it?). 2015-04-21 14.27.58

Anyway, if some of you readers fancy a trip to Staffordshire and you have a free day, go to Trentham Gardens: there are also a shopping centre and a monkey forest. And I have just found more interesting things to do! 😉
